It appears that Warner Bros. is teasing its upcoming Super Smash Bros.-style fighting game that leaked a few weeks ago.
Allegedly called “Warner Bros Multiversus,” the game appears to feature characters from many Warner Bros. shows and films. In a move that seems to hint at this, the official Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry Twitter accounts posted pictures missing their characters from the scene, as if they had been transported to another universe. Another universe where they’ll probably beat each other up.

Each tweet also marks the WB Games Twitter account, further establishing the connection between the characters and a video game.
What new hijinks do Tom and Jerry have now? 🐭🐱 @wbgames pic.twitter.com/LCVQ5bT8jE

Both Bugs Bunny and Tom and Jerry were listed in the original leak, so these teasing aligns with what we knew before. Other expected characters are Steven Universe, Finn and Jake, Batman, Wonder Woman, and even Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings.
This apparent WB fighter is fast on the heels of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, which similarly brings together characters from numerous shows for a Super Smash Bros.-esque brawl. With the content of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate now ending with the release of Sora, there’s a niche in the market for another fighter to grab people’s attention. But who will come out on top between Warner Bros. and Nickelodeon cartoons?
