Corresponding TMZ, Clarence’s wife, Jacqueline Avant, was shot and killed late Tuesday during a home invasion. The police arrived at the apartment around 2:30 a.m. after a caller informed the dispatcher that someone had been shot. When they arrived, Jacqueline had been hospitalized.

A family source reportedly told the website that the people who broke into the house fired shots that sadly hit Jacqueline. Clarence was also home at the time of the robbery, but was not injured in the incident.

It is reported that security guards were present at the house. The guard was also shot, unfortunately, but did not return fire. At least one suspect, the shooter, was able to break into the house, it is unclear how many suspects were involved in the incident.
