As the “Welt” reports, the reason for this is that the managers of the two discounters could not find a common direction for a major campaign. At Aldi Süd, price communication will only follow later after a request from “Welt”.

Like last year, Aldi Süd and Aldi Nord nominate “Veganuary” in January. It encourages people to ditch animal foods for a month and try vegan alternatives.
