The parents of the defendant Ethan Crumbley, who shot fire at the Michigan school, are believed to be on the run after being officially charged with negligent homicide

Roommates, the parents of 15-year-old school suspect Ethan Crumbley, are currently listed on the run from police and as a refugee. This update comes just hours after Ethan Crumbley’s parents were charged with negligent homicide for helping their son, who allegedly killed four people and injured seven others earlier this week.

Talk about the whereabouts of Ethan Crumbey’s parents, Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard made it clear the couple are currently missing, but intends to ensure they are found. “If you think you’re going to get away, it’s not.” To ensure they are arrested, Bouchard confirmed that Oakland County Police are currently working with the FBI and the US Marshal Service, adding that the Crumbleys’ disappearance was “indicative” [of] their intention to flee. “

Addressing concerns that the couple were armed and dangerous, Bouchard responded that “anything is possible” and stressed that anyone seeing the couple should not approach them. In response to their escape, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department released pictures of Ethan Crumbey’s parents, including the vehicle they may be driving, a black 2021 Kia Seltos SUV with Michigan license plate DQG 5203.

In addition, the Crumbleys’ attorney reportedly worked with authorities to ensure the couple were available for arrest – but it has now been confirmed that they are no longer communicating with their attorney.

As previously reported, Ethan Crumbley’s parents were formally indicted for negligent homicide during a press conference announcement today.
