The MCU version of the Daily Bugle launched its own TikTok as marketing for the December release of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Go by the username @TheDailyBugleOfficial, the MCU outlet launched its own TikTok account that fans can follow today to “get the latest news about Spider-Man that you can’t get anywhere else”.
While those of you are hoping that J. Jonah Jameson and his reporting team may have snapped a few pictures of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, it certainly doesn’t seem to be the case so far. The Bugle’s first post features intern Betty Brant announcing her new position at the newspaper, while another features J. Jonah Jameson, who describes Spider-Man as the “spider menace” we all know for real Simmons style is.
According to the latest upload from the fictional outlet, fans can now download their own Daily Bugle reporter pack to share their own “Spider-Man sightings, misguided opinions, vague rumors and craziest conspiracy theories” on the social media app. Downloading the pack gives you access to your own TikTok Daily Bugle background that you can use to support Brant in her promise to deliver the kind of “fair, balanced, powerful news you expect” to fans. from the bugle. ”
Brant, played by actress Angourie Rice, has appeared in two previous MCU Spider-Man films. While she spent the majority of Far From Home with Peter Parker’s best friend and “guy in the chair” Ned, the character is more commonly known in the films as a member of the Midtown High student journalism team. A similar role is played throughout Marvel’s comic series by the character best known for her role in the Daily Bugle and her relationship with Ned.

The Daily Bugle itself doesn’t appear in the MCU until the end of Spider-Man Far From Home during a post-credit scene with Jameson making a cameo. The outlet in Spider-Man: No Way Home is likely to make a far more important contribution. Simmons has talked about repeating his role as the outlet’s angry editor-in-chief, he also made a brief cameo on No Way Home’s latest trailer.
