After over 18 years of waiting, the next entry in Matrix history – The Matrix Resurrections – is almost here. Although the film won’t officially be released in theaters and on HBO Max until December 22nd, IGN is proud to be the main partner of the US Red Carpet Premiere of The Matrix Resurrections, which will feature interviews with the cast and the crew offer from celebrities, influencers and much more.

That’s not all for those who can’t wait to get back on The Matrix, as IGN will also reveal an exclusive, never-before-seen clip from The Matrix Resurrections during the event.

Matrix Resurrection Event Start Time on the Red Carpet

The Matrix Resurrections Red Carpet Event will take place on Saturday, December 18, beginning at 5:30 p.m. PT / 8:30 a.m. ET. If you are turning on from the GMT time zone or Australia, it means Sunday, December 19th at 1:30 am GMT / 11:30 am AEST.

What to expect at the Matrix Resurrections Red Carpet Event

The Matrix Resurrections Red Carpet Event will be hosted by Max Scoville, Garrett Watts and Tefi from IGN and will feature interviews with many of the cast and crew of the upcoming film. The star-studded guest list includes actors Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jones, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Toby Onwumere, Brian J. Smith, and many more.

In addition to Matrix Resurrections director Lana Wachowski, we are also endorsed by many who brought the film to life, including writers Aleksander Hemon and David Mitchell, editor Joseph Jett Sally, composers Tom Tykwer and Johnny Klimek, and more.

It wouldn’t be a proper red carpet without other celebrities, and the premiere of The Matrix Resurrections is no exception.
