The best gaming PC: Medion Erazer Hunter X30 at Aldi

Looking at the individual components of the Medion Erazer Hunter X30, it’s safe to say that you’d be well supplied in terms of processor, graphics, memory, and connections and could punch through anything if needed. Even demanding games like Anthem ($59.99 at Amazon), Red Dead Redemption 2 (59.99 euros at Amazon) or Elden Ring (from 68.75 euros on Amazon) should be playable in this setup at the highest settings.

But: You absolutely have to provide an additional hard drive, for example. A total of one terabyte is available on the preconfigured system, which can sometimes be tight with multiple parallel game installations.

But what if the 25 copies offered by Aldi are quickly sold out? What if you put together the individual parts of this setup yourself, for example at Mindfactory or Notebooksbilliger.de, and take the time to assemble the device yourself?

It’s a little more complicated, but it might be worth it if you look at the total price. We have replaced the InWin case mentioned by Aldi with a Corsair iCUE 4000x Big Tower case and save around 700 euros (excluding shipping costs):
