Spider-Man: No Way Home Artist Reveals Her Opinion on Tom Holland In A Venom Suit

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Spider-Man: No way home!

Spider-Man: No Way Home concept artist Thomas du Crest has shared his personal opinion on what Tom Holland’s Spider-Man could look like with a Venom suit.

ComicBook.com discovered du Crest’s post, which gave fans the opportunity to “get a glimpse of what might be next”. Though it’s by no means an official tease, the tweet contains four images from Holland’s Spider-Man donning a black suit and imagining what he might look like if he bonded with the Venom symbiote. Take a look at the following artwork:

du Crest has created concept art and illustration for numerous Marvel projects, including Spider-Man: Far From Home, Avengers: Endgame, and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. You Crest also worked on Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Crafting Concept drafts for the Ravencroft Institute, under the direction of Oliver Scholl.

None other than Venom featured in No Way Home’s mid-credits scene. Eddie was pulled back into his universe by the MCU, leaving behind a small piece of the Venom symbiote. This potentially leads to a cross between Spider-Man and Venom, as this new symbiote is likely to track down and bond with Peter Parker.

Such an interaction could lead to the black costume saga in which Peter wears the alien symbiote and dons his iconic black suit. In the comics, the alien suit gave Spider-Man enhanced powers, but also brought out its darker side, causing Peter to ditch the suit to save his humanity. Now, however, we could see Venom’s Spawn create the Spider-Man in the black suit.

Holland has already explained how his three solo Spider-Man films formed an arc that started with Homecoming, continued with Far From Home, and now concludes with No Way Home – the MCU human future is going to be very different from that distinguish what we’ve seen so far.
