Samsung removes convenience feature with Android update – but offers a much better successor

This is the new “Modes and Routines” feature. This gives users the ability to automatically initiate different actions based on their activity. For example, you can automatically activate the “Do not disturb” mode when you are sitting in the car or do not want to be disturbed while listening to music.

In addition to modes, certain routines can also be created. As an example, Samsung cites the automatic playback of certain music playlists when a wired headset is connected to the smartphone.
