Samsung Galaxy Owners Need to Update: New Version Fixes Nearly 100 Security Holes
To keep your device safe from security vulnerabilities, you need to quickly install the updates offered. The installation is usually done over the air, that is to say without the smartphone having to be connected to a computer. A corresponding note informs users of the availability of security updates. Alternatively, it is possible in the system settings to manually check if updates are available.
Please also note that updates are often rolled out in multiple waves and are made available at different speeds from country to country – so the update may only be made available to you at a later date.
