Samsung Galaxy A54: this innovation promises a huge boost
It should be clear that Samsung is planning a successor for such a popular device. We expect an official announcement between the end of February and mid-March. However, a leak already shows what you can expect – and one innovation in particular could provide decent speedup: the never-before-seen (SoC) chip. Exynos 1380.
Additional equipment should include dust and water protection, 6/8 GB of RAM, 128/256 GB of internal memory and a 32 Mpixel front camera. The main camera consists of three elements: a 50 megapixel camera with image stabilization, a 12 megapixel camera and a 5 megapixel camera. If the rumors are true, Samsung has here saved a lens and reduced the maximum number of pixels from 64 to 50. With the Galaxy A53, the camera was not necessarily one of the device’s great strengths. So we’re curious to see how much Samsung has improved the quality here.
Like its predecessor, the Galaxy A54 is said to have a 5,000mAh battery – the A53’s battery lasted around 13:30 which is a very good value. If Samsung not only turned the performance screw on the new SoC, but also increased efficiency, the Galaxy A54 could become a true long-distance runner.
