Powerful electric shavers: test winners, price tips & Co. at a glance

In the ranking, the Philips 9000 Series (SP9820/18) as test winner pass. In addition to the soft and smooth shave, it also impresses with a neat finish and a full result. However, the Philips shaver is in the upper price segment. For that much money, we’d expect a much better setup. Only the razor itself is included in the delivery. You will search in vain for a cleaning station, a charging station, a trimmer for a three-day beard length or at least a cleaning brush. Anyone who is still willing to spend so much money on a shaver should therefore also take a look at the sister model, the SP9860/18. It’s a bit more expensive, but you get a lot more features and even a Qi charger for the shaver.

Ours is significantly cheaper Price tip, the Remington R9 Ultimate. It achieves test results with simple use and cleaning, runs very quietly and, unlike the test winner, comes with a compact charging station. The Remington razor costs about 75 euros (for price comparison). But you have to compromise on battery performance and the device can only be charged in the station.
