Nvidia announces new high-end GPU RTX 3090 Ti

After weeks of rumors and speculation, Nvidia announced a new high-end GPU, the RTX 3090 Ti, during its CES 2022 livestream.

While the company did not provide any information on prices or release dates, The Verge Notes that the RTX 3090 Ti will contain 40 teraflops of GPU power, making it about 11 percent faster than the previous RTX 3090 at 36 teraflops.

The Verge also notes that the RTX 3090 Ti offers 24GB of GDDR6X and the same amount of VRAM as the RTX 3090 GPU which offers 26GB of VRAM, although the RTX 3090 Ti has a faster VRAM at 21Gbps instead of the RTX we have 3090 with 26 GB VRAM with 19.5 Gbit / s.
