Multifunction printers, which can also scan and, if necessary, fax themselves, are particularly suitable for small home offices. Basically, you have to choose between an inkjet printer and a laser printer.
An inkjet printer is usually much cheaper to buy, but ink follow-up costs are higher and the printhead needs to be cleaned from time to time, especially if you print very infrequently. Laser printers, on the other hand, are controversial because exposure to microparticles produced during printing can be hazardous to health.
So if you plan to print dozens of sheets a day, you should at least provide adequate ventilation.
