Morbius postponed to April 2022

Sony Pictures has postponed Morbius from January 28, 2022 to April 1, 2022.

Morbius plays Jared Leto as the antihero Dr. Michael Morbius. After being diagnosed with a rare blood disorder, he is determined to save himself and others, and although he appears to have found a cure, it comes at a terrible price and “unleashes a darkness within him”.

Morbius is no stranger to delays as the Marvel and Sony movie was originally scheduled to hit theaters on July 31, 2020. Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, Morbius was postponed from March 2021 through October 2021 to January 21, 2022. until January 28, 2022 and now until April 1, 2022.

Life’s Daniel Espinosa directs Morbius, while Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless direct the story and script. In addition to Leto, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Magrigal and Tyrese Gibson are part of the cast.

A big question that many have is which universe Morbius actually belongs to. That question didn’t grow until after the second Morbius trailer, which featured Venom, Oscorp Tower, The Daily Bugle, Spider-Man graffiti, and even an appearance by Michael Keaton’s Vulture – which is part of the MCU via Spider-Man: Homecoming – twice would.
