The Atlanta hotties waiting to see Megan Thee Stallion Thursday night were disappointed after the rapper announced she would be off the Jingle Ball stage just hours before the concert started.
In an Instagram post, Meg announced that she was uncomfortable after members of her team were exposed to COVID and that she would not appear in the A.
“We recently learned that some members of my team were exposed to COVID,” Thee Stallion wrote. “Although I tested negative this afternoon, I am not doing well and for safety reasons I am unfortunately unable to perform at the Jingle Ball in Atlanta tonight.”
She regretted her regrets to her fans and stated that she would receive a second COVID test as a precautionary measure.
“I am extremely disappointed to let my beauties down. I hope that we will feel better tomorrow and plan to do another test as an additional safety measure. “
Megan joins Doja Cat as a second celebrity to announce that COVID concerns would deter her from performing at the iHeartRadio event. Doja announced that some of the people on her team tested positive for COVID and later announced that she tested positive too.
“As most of you have probably heard by now, some members of my production team tested positive for COVID-19 and I had to cancel some of my upcoming appearances for safety reasons,” announced Doja. “I’m sorry to announce that I just tested positive and can no longer perform on the rest of the iHeartRadio Jingle Bell Tour.”
We will keep you updated on the condition of Meg and Doja as soon as details are available, Roomies.
