MCU superhero debut in Doctor Strange 2 could have appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home

New concept art for Spider-Man: No way home reveals that Marvel hero America Chavez was apparently considered for the film.

Also known as Miss America, is Chavez set to appear in the coming Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness. But it looks like she was originally meant to appear alongside Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home – a new image shows the character with what appears to be a magical tome, surrounded by characters from the Spider-Man films and amidst some runaway bumper cars.

The concept art comes from Maciej Kuciara who (per Screenrant) posted the picture on Twitter and deleted it shortly afterwards. As you can see below, this image made it past the artist’s page before it was removed:

It’s unclear whether this appearance would actually have been America Chavez’s film debut when the concept art was created. After all, the Marvel slate has seen numerous line-up changes as a result of the pandemic. In particular, the upcoming Doctor Strange sequel should be released In front Spider-Man: No way home.
