It looks like Kodak Black is back in goodwill with the law. According to an exclusive report from TMZ, Kodak Completed 90 days in a drug treatment program. As previously reported, he was ordered to join the program after failing a drug test. The failed test meant he was violating his terms of detention, but instead of a jail sentence, Kodak received three months of rehab.
Apparently, Kodak recently had a court hearing to reinstate its supervised release. According to his attorney Bradford Cohen, the judge is pleased with his progress after the treatment.
As previously reported, Kodak was arrested in May 2019 and charged on two counts with false information to an arms dealer. Police arrested Kodak after arriving at a concert venue. The court later sentenced him to 46 months, but Kodak did not serve all of the time. In January 2021, former President Donald Trump added Kodak to his final pardon list. The Florida rapper then thanked Trump for his freedom.
“I would like to thank President Donald Trump f. to thankor his commitment to judicial reform and reducing my sentence, ”said Kodak. “I would also like to thank everyone for their support and love. It means more than you will ever know. I want to keep giving back, learning and growing. “
According to TMZ, the artist is now focused on his career, which includes releasing new tunes and going on tour. TMZ reports that Kodak is already offering tour opportunities overseas, but the door remains open. After completing his program, he performed for the first time at Rolling Loud California.
After that, Kodak returned to Florida. His lawyer says he is trying to “stay away from people, places, and things” that may harm him or create the temptation to use drugs.
