During an interview with Weekly entertainment, the 39 year old Spider Man star said she’d love to be in a new Spider-Man movie.

Dunst originally played Mary Jane opposite Tobey Maguire in the 2002 Marvel hit Spider-Man. She is now rumored to be appear in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home but is not yet seen in any of the official trailers or posters.
Spider-Man: No way home opens up a whole multiverse of possibilities. Tired of being recognized as a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, Peter Parker enlists the mystical Steven Strange to help rewrite history.
But when it goes wrong, some of Spider-Man’s greatest opponents from across the Multiverse gather – here and now for an epic showdown with the likes of Alfred Molina’s iconic Doctor Octopus. Other recurring Spider-Man characters include Jamie Foxx’s Electro and Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin. with Michael Keaton’s Vulture being filmed an upcoming, unknown project.
This could easily open the door to a return of haze – to Mary Jane in No Way Home or beyond. Of course, it is also rumored that former Spider-Men Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will also fit Spider-Man: No Way Home. Whether they do that remains to be seen. But the rumors have certainly caused quite a stir since Spider-Man: No Way Home leads the biggest advance ticket sales since Avengers: Endgame.
“It seems like a lot of films are being remade,” said Dunst of Spider-Man: No Way Home. “For me it’s like a running theme.”
Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit theaters on December 17, 2021.
