JK Simmon’s iconic portrayal of antagonistic newspaper editor J. Jonah Jameson remains a legacy of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films. After his appearance in Spider-Man: Far From Home, Simmons will take over his role again in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home.
In conversation with the Happy Sad Confused Podcast, Simmons made Jameson’s receding hairline easy as he talked about his appearance in the upcoming movie.

“You know what, I think it’s a slightly different version. From the makers of the current version of the story, it’s certainly a completely different character,” Simmons said. “For me it’s a slightly different character. It’s the same blowhard; the same guy with less hair. Honestly, I wish he had the same hair.”
Simmons talks about his approach to Jameson in the MCU and sheds a little light on how James is used in No Way Home. “As appropriate for this character, he’s a little weird bump that is easily sprinkled into the film.”
It sounds like Spider-Man: No Way Home is really shaping up to be a celebration of all things Spider-Man doing as it will bring back a multitude of iconic characters, including Green Goblin and Doc Ock. And what Spidey celebration is complete without Jameson chewing on a cigar and ranting about Spider-Man being the number 1 public enemy?
Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released on December 17th. Here is our full breakdown of the latest trailer.
