For one movie: Netflix and Amazon are suddenly working together

Netflix had secured the rights to two more episodes of the “Knives Out” series. On December 23, the first sequel “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” will debut on the streaming service. They’ve teamed up with Amazon for this, because now there are some very special treats for all Amazon Fire TV users. Exclusive trailers and behind-the-scenes footage will be available to users starting December 23. There will also be a mystery that allows users to become Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) in search of a missing Fire TV Cube.

The two brands weren’t shy about collaborating on the film, as Netflix VP Magno Herran explained, “It’s a fun new way for us to build on the momentum and excitement about the film, and together we encourage global audiences to embrace immersion in the detective mindset as we solve the mysterious case of the stolen Fire TV Cube.” It looks like the collaboration will pay off for both brands. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery premieres December 23 only on Netflix.
