Double win for Aldi: These are the best detergents

Warentest Foundation:

Discounter beats the mark: test winner with a rating of 1.8 (good) is Tandil Ultra Plus detergent Aldi North (nearly 4.85 euros for 2.025 kilograms). Other discount brands can also get good points in the detergent test (“test” number 11/2021). Other winners include:

  • Powerful detergent Rossmann Domol
  • Edeka Good & Cheap Heavy Duty Detergent
  • Lidl Formil Ultra Plus
  • Net Priva Ultra Power Detergent

To the big ones losers in the case of strong liquid detergents and caps, count among others Lenor 2in1 laundry, Arielle Universal + Actilift + Power, speech Active gel and Edeka Good and cheap 3 in 1 active laundry detergent capsules.

In the detergent test by the experts of ├ľKO-TEST (edition 07/2020), there are more disappointed faces than happy faces. Because out of a total of 19 common liquid detergents, only one was rated “good”. The test winner is the Ecover universal detergent Ecover (see on Amazon). At 30 cents per wash, it’s not exactly cheap, but it’s effective and environmentally friendly. 12 detergents obtain a “satisfactory” solid.

Six detergents were only rated as “good enough” and are therefore – in comparison – among the losers in the detergent test. Aprilfrisch liquid laundry detergent from Lenor and also each a means of speech and Parsley.

All my wishes:

The test winner of our partner AllesBeste also proves that cheap discount products can keep up with the well-known competition. The powerful detergent Tandil Ultra Plus from Aldi south get on top. Plus, testers loved another inexpensive own-brand product, Gut & Billig Heavy-Duty Detergent. Edeka, which can almost keep up with the test winner. Among other things, a more expensive branded product was less popular: Das Parsley Universal 4in1-Disks is rather average in terms of cleaning performance.
