Don’t ignore the note: Google already warns about unwanted apps

Google points out that while error rates of up to 8% are tolerated, developers should aim for at least 2%. Over the next year, even more metrics may be included in app quality ratings. The objective is therefore clear: Android applications must benefit from an improvement in quality.

App vendors should be notified of anomalies in their apps through developer tools, such as if crash rates are higher on some versions of Android than on others.
