Delroy Lindo will assist Mahershala Ali with Marvel’s upcoming Blade reboot.
Corresponding The Hollywood Reporter, Lindo is in final negotiations to join the cast of Marvel’s Vampire Slayer Excursion. Not a word about who Lindo will be playing against.
Lindo is currently starring on Netflix western The Harder They Fall, but has previously had critically acclaimed appearances in such films as Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods alongside Marvel’s Chadwick Boseman.
Marvel Cinematic Universe: All upcoming movies and TV shows
Marvel announced the Blade movie with Ali at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 when Marvel brought Ali on stage. Additionally, Ali Blade has voiced on the post-credit scene for The Eternals.
The Blade film’s plot details are still kept secret, despite Watchmen writer Stacy Osei-Kuffour and directed by Bassam Tariq.
Blade is slated to be part of Marvel’s Phase Four alongside Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and more. Check out IGN’s rundown of all of the upcoming Marvel movies and shows in the pipeline.
