Chocolate Santa Clauses in the test: This is how Milka, Lindt, Ferrero and Aldi work
In addition to the seven chocolate Santa Clauses rated “good”, ten others were rated “satisfactory”. These include well-known products such as Kinder, Lindt or Merci. Aldi Christmas chocolate also completed the test with a score of 3.
At the bottom are five products that fail with the “poor” rating (rating 5). In addition to significantly increased mineral oil components, some mineral oil hydrocarbons are also detected here. The famous manufacturer Alnatura was also among the losers.
According to ÖKO-TEST, “Contamination is possible wherever food comes into contact with lubricating oils”. For example, when harvesting cocoa beans, lubricating oil from the machine can contaminate the subsequent product.
