The American manufacturer Coca-Cola has already started to screw the new “let me go” caps on the bottles. According to the company, production has already been converted at eleven of the 14 regional sites. With Cola, Sprite and Co., customers can already find the new “attached caps” in many places.
It is more than doubtful that the new principle will be accepted by customers. Voices are already being raised on social media that the new lids are detrimental to the consumer experience. By 2024 at the latest, however, consumers will no longer have the choice of buying bottles with other caps.
