Bandai Namco announced that it has suspended pre-orders for the Elden Ring Premium Collector’s Edition due to overwhelming demand. The company will announce when these limited editions will be available for pre-order again.
Elden Ring is one of the most anticipated games for 2022, so demand for the Premium Collector’s Edition is normal. The Collector’s Edition is the most limited edition of the game available for sale. For $ 260, it includes an official replica of an Elden Ring helmet, plus a statue, collector’s box, artbook, steelbook, digital soundtrack, and copy of the game.
But Bandai Namco has also relaunched its store with a new look and at the same time switched live the pre-orders for the Collector’s Edition. Users (including myself) had problems creating new accounts as these requests were not processed until much later.

There was also an issue where users didn’t have the “Please enter your date of birth to continue” Screen that appears when you try to access the item page. Those who somehow managed to get past the age limit and successfully put the item in their shopping cart faced a different problem: guest checkouts weren’t allowed and users must have one Bandai Namco Store account to confirm pre-order reservations. Because the site was having problems creating an account and logging in, many users got stuck with the item in their shopping cart and were unable to quickly check it out.
Thank you for your patience with the new problems creating an account in the store this morning. Due to the limited availability of the Premium CE, we have paused the reservations and will notify you again here when we make it available for pre-order.

Some users could enforce and secure your pre-orders. But Bandai Namco has now completely removed the offers for the Premium Collector’s Editions from the store page. However, the company didn’t mention what to do with the Orders that have been successfully placed and whether or not they are canceled.
Elden Ring is the next action RPG from Japanese developer FromSoftware. From our Elden Ring preview, it will be familiar to anyone who has played games like Dark Souls, but on a much larger scale. And there’s the bonus of knowing that Game of Thrones creator George RR Martin started the game’s lore.
