“I mean, yeah, definitely open to something when it feels right,” he said. “Peter and Spider-Man, these characters are all about serving the common good and serving the many. He is a working class boy from Queens who knows struggle and loss and is deeply empathetic. I would try to adopt Peter Parker’s ethical framework because if there was a chance to step back and tell more of this story, I should feel very safe and secure. “

I love this character and I’m grateful to have worked with these incredible actors, this incredible director, and Marvel in conjunction with Sony. It was a joy and a sense of closure for me. There were so many unanswered questions for my Peter where we left it. I was allowed to step back and have some healing for him. And really supportive too [Holland’s] Peter and honors his character to complete this trilogy without distracting or distracting it. “
