Every IGN Mass Effect Review

Mass Effect is an extremely popular RPG series from BioWare. The sprawling science fiction epic consists of many different alien races and civilizations that anticipate the technology left behind by the ancient precursor civilization. The series consists of the central Mass Effect trilogy and a sequel Mass Effect: Andromeda.

If Amazon does a Mass Effect TV series, it will be the second video game adaptation in the studio. Amazon previously announced it would do a Fallout TV show from the creators of Westworld Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Bethesda boss Todd Howard recently announced in an AMA that work on the Fallout TV series is still ongoing.

Elsewhere, HBO is adapting The Last of Us for television, while on the film side, Sony is poised to release an Uncharted film with Tom Holland as Nathan Drake.

Although there hasn’t been a new Mass Effect game in years, EA recently released the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, which remastered all three Mass Effect games and combined them into a single package. And BioWare is slowly teasing the next Mass Effect game currently in development.
