Already a hundred dead: Fisher-Price informs of an important recall

The American consumer protection authority CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) and the Fisher-Price company have recalled all Rock’n Play cribs. This is reported by “”. This renews a reminder from April 2022 and May 2019. Already in 2019, there was talk of at least ten dead infants since 2015.

US authorities are now aware of more than 30 deaths that have occurred in connection with the cradle. Babies must have rolled onto their stomach or side beforehand in the bassinet. The manufacturer did not specify what caused the babies to die. So far, around 100 deaths have been reported, according to “”. There are over 4.7 million affected Fisher-Price Rock ‘n Play cribs worldwide. These should no longer be used. Since the cribs in question are also offered online in the EU, particular caution is warranted.
