A lot is changing at Deutsche Bahn: travelers will have to adapt in 2023

Connections to other European countries should also become more attractive in 2023. From December there will be an additional continuous round trip between Stuttgart and Zurich. From October 2023, the number of direct connections will continue to grow from 8 to 13 per day.

Berlin and Warsaw will connect the Polish DB and PKP from March 2023 with a sixth pair of additional trains (return). Travel time between the two capitals will also be reduced by around ten minutes for all connections from December.

Deutsche Bahn is also improving night travel: a new night train line is to link Zurich to Berlin and Prague. The existing Zurich-Hamburg night train will change its route from the timetable change in the north and will then also connect Bruchsal, Heidelberg, Darmstadt, Hanau, Verden and Nienburg to the international night train service. In addition, the former Munich–Venice/Rijeka/Zagreb/Vienna/Budapest night train now departs from Stuttgart and also offers stops in Göppingen, Ulm and Augsburg.
