After months of leaked images circulating in collector circles, Nike has finally released official images of the Air Zoom Flight ’98 ‘The Glove’ retro. The shoe — originally worn by Gary Payton during the 1998 NBA season — is one of the most unique basketball silhouettes Nike has ever produced.
The retro version remains faithful to the original: all-black upper with the distinctive ankle shroud system, Zoom Air cushioning, and carbon fiber shank plate visible through the outsole.
Nike has confirmed a fall 2025 release window with pricing to be announced closer to launch.
