Legendary actor Bruce Dern wanted to guest star donkey forever, although he is 85 years old.
During an interview with The Howard Stern Show, Longtime Jackass star Johnny Knoxville revealed that Dern has been scrambling to star in the upcoming film, but it looks like he missed the boat.
“Bruce Dern contacted us,” he revealed. “Someone had contacted us [saying] ‘Bruce Dern wants to be in Jackass’. We’d love Bruce Dern to be in Jackass, but we’re kind of done filming now.”
Of course, Jackass is known for its celebrity guest appearances, which feature Brad Pitt appearing on the original show.
The upcoming Jackass Forever also has many celebrity guests, including world-renowned skateboarder Tony Hawk and musician Machine Gun Kelly. Unfortunately, Bruce Dern will sit out this time.
The Oscar-nominated actor is perhaps best known for his villainous roles, starring in the 1981 erotic thriller Tattoo as a deranged tattoo artist who kidnaps a model. In recent years he has become a frequent collaborator with Quentin Tarantino, appearing in Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Already announced in 2019 and based on the hit TV show, Jackass Forever sees the return of the Jackass crew as they up their game with a series of ridiculous and downright dangerous stunts. In fact, the occupation is believed to have accumulated Injuries valued at over $24 million throughout her career.
